The Thermion 2 XP50 Pro has now been discontinued, but remains one of Pulsar’s most respected and proven thermal riflescopes. Known for its exceptional image quality, rugged build, and long-range performance, it continues to be a popular choice among professional shooters and serious hunters who already own one.
Powered by a highly sensitive <25 mK 640×480 / 17 µm sensor and a fast F50 / 1.0 Germanium lens, the Thermion 2 XP50 Pro delivered outstanding clarity and detail in all conditions—including fog, rain, and cold environments. Its wide field of view and impressive 1,800 m detection range made it ideal for long-distance identification and pest control work.
Built around a tough metal housing and rated to IPX7 waterproof standards, it was designed to survive demanding field use and heavy recoil. Its dual battery system (internal + external) provided over 5 hours of operation, with the ability to extend runtime instantly by swapping the external pack.
With integrated video recording, Wi-Fi connectivity, and compatibility with Pulsar’s Stream Vision app, the XP50 Pro offered a modern, feature-rich experience while maintaining the look and balance of a traditional day scope.
Although production has ended, the Thermion 2 XP50 Pro remains supported in New Zealand with Pulsar’s authorised servicing and warranty assistance for existing units.
