Pulsar NZ at the Outdoor Expo – A Weekend of Adventure and Connection

This past weekend 4th and 5th October 2025, our Pulsar New Zealand team headed to the Outdoor Expo, and what an incredible event it was - even if the weather had other plans! The conditions were wet, cold, and a little miserable, but that turned out to be perfect for testing our gear in real-world, adverse conditions. It gave visitors a firsthand look at how well Pulsar performs when visibility drops and the elements turn against you - exactly when thermal imaging proves its worth.

Despite the rain, the turnout was fantastic. From early on, the venue was buzzing with outdoor enthusiasts, hunters, and adventurers from all over New Zealand - all sharing the same passion for the outdoors. We were proud to showcase our latest thermal imaging scopes and night vision devices, giving visitors a hands-on experience with the latest in cutting-edge optics technology.

One of the highlights of the weekend was meeting a new Pulsar dealer from Ashburton - Outdoor Adventure Sports, along with his son and granddaughters. He’s recently started stocking our gear, and it was great to see his excitement and commitment to bringing Pulsar products to more people in the South Island.

The weekend wasn’t just about products - it was about people. We had the chance to catch up with long-time Pulsar users and meet plenty of newcomers eager to see what thermal imaging can do for their outdoor pursuits. The feedback and enthusiasm we received were incredibly rewarding and reminded us why we love being part of this community.

A big thank you to everyone who braved the weather and stopped by our stand - your support made the weekend a real success.

If you couldn’t make it this time, don’t worry - we’ve got more events and updates coming soon. Stay tuned and make sure you’re subscribed to our newsletter so you never miss what’s next from Pulsar NZ.

Until next time - see you outdoors!
